At this Wednesday’s Mass we shall observe the Optional Memorial to Bl John Henry Newman, and then next Sunday, 13th, he will be Canonised in St Peter’s Square, Rome at 10am local time, and remembered at our 10.30 Mass here, with Newman hymns and prayers. He occupies a special place in the hearts of many of us here at West Grinstead.
