THE FUTURE OF THE 10.30 SUNDAY MASS AT WEST GRINSTEAD

In discussions with Bishop Richard and ourselves, Fr David Irwin, who most of you will know, says he is delighted to help us, and has kindly offered to say the 10.30 Mass for us on a fairly regular basis from early March, following his retirement from St James, Spanish Place .

We are delighted with this news, and are very grateful for his kind offer of help. We know you will welcome him most warmly.

PLEASE NOTE HOWEVER, THAT (as stated last week), WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE, SADLY, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CONTINUE OFFERING THE VIGIL MASS (6pm Saturdays) AT WEST GRINSTEAD.

Please see this week’s News-sheet for details on these and other matters.

PLEASE NOTE THAT, WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT AND FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CONTINUE OFFERING THE VIGIL MASS (6pm Saturdays) AT WEST GRINSTEAD. THIS IS PRINCIPALLY BECAUSE OF THE DIFFICULTY OF PROVIDING SUPPLY PRIESTS, AT THE PRESENT TIME.

We all wish to thank you for your support of the Vigil Mass over the years, and for your patience and understanding in recent months, regarding the inevitable uncertainty surrounding the future of this Mass.

THE 10.30 SUNDAY SUNG MASS WILL CONTINUE AS NORMAL.

Please see the News-sheet for a copy of Bishop Richard’s announcement on this matter, and for all other notices.

PLEASE NOTE THERE WILL BE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BISHOP RICHARD, READ OUT AT THE END OF BOTH MASSES THIS WEEKEND (2nd and 3rd Feb) REGARDING THE FUTURE OF THE VIGIL MASS.

Please see the News-sheet for a copy of this announcement and for all other notices.
